This page is for the newbies who don't know about deck building.
Tip 1: Always try to keep as close to the 40 card limit so
you have a better chance to draw what you want.
Tip 2: The best balance for cards are 17 monsters, 17 spells
and 6 traps.
Tip 3: If you have cards that involve drawing cards such as
POT OF GREED or DARK MIMIC LV. 1 make it so there's
42 cards in your deck. Decking out is bad.
Tip 4: Only have five spells and traps that stay on the
field. That includes equips, and continious cards.
Tip 5: Never overwhelm yourself with too many tributes. Only
have two single tributes and one double tribute.
Tip 6: Even if there wonderful cards, don't use cards you're
not good with. I don't use my JINZO because it hurts
me more than it helps.
Tip 7: Try not to make a deck that centers on one card,
because what happens if that card gets destroyed?
Tip 8: Always use your fusion monsters even if you don't
have the fusion-material monsters. They will
intimidate your oppponent.
Tip 9: Try to use as many normal monsters as possible so you
won't be a victim of CEASEFIRE or THE SPELL ABSORBING
LIFE.
